Students who have completed at least two-thirds of their law school course work and are in good academic standing can be certified for practice by the New Jersey Supreme Court pursuant to New Jersey Court Rule 1:21-3(b) which governs the practice of law students. Working under the direct supervision of faculty who are licensed lawyers, students perform the full range of functions necessary for proper client representation, including appearing in the New Jersey Courts and before various administrative courts.

To be eligible to participate in the Clinical Program students must have completed Evidence and Professional Responsibility.
